Welcome

Physio with Belinda Kotze:

I am a highly experienced paediatric physiotherapist for babies, children and teens who has been working exclusively in paediatrics for over 20 years. I have extensive experience and have worked in the NHS and in the private sector, both in the UK and abroad in Australia and South Africa. I am now based in Canterbury, Kent, and have a passion to see children of every age and stage achieve their physical potential. My intervention is targeted individually to your child’s needs, interests, age and stage of development. My role is to partner with you and your child as they reach toward their physical goals.

It was Helen Keller who said ‘Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.’

My Treatment Studio in Canterbury

I am so glad I found Belinda, a physiotherapist in Canterbury.   She was so understanding of my concerns and set about doing an assessment of my LO, who has a muscle weakness disorder.  She explained why she was doing the exercises and gave me instructions on how to continue at home.  My LO responded well to Belinda from the moment she met her.  Over the course of the block, I have seen noticeable improvement in my LO’s development.  Especially her core strength and starting to weight bear. Due to Belinda’s knowledge and expertise, a whole new adventure has been opened up for my LO.

Thank you very much.

Specialist Intervention for Neuromuscular Disorder: A parent’s perspective

We began physio sessions with Belinda in October 2024 for our one-year-old son. On our first consultation we spoke about what we want to achieve in our upcoming sessions and long-term goals.

Belinda has offered tremendous help with various exercises, positions and games to keep our little boy engaged during sessions. We, as well as many family and friends, have noticed just how significant of an impact these sessions have made, along with homework we do at home. We can all see an improvement in our son’s strength and control; and the ability level he is able to perform at during day to day activities.

Always enjoyable sessions and lots of great take-away’s from sessions. Thank you for all your help so far!
